About Colorado (10-13, 2-7 Big 12): Just like the first time these teams played on Feb. 2, the Buffaloes are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Colorado got Kansas after its first loss of the season to Kansas State, and now it gets the Jayhawks after their second lost to Texas. Despite that unfortunate circumstance, the Buffs actually played KU tight for most of the game in Boulder. But will they be able to pull that off again in Lawrence? CU will be the much smaller team on the floor for most of the night, playing Richard Roby as its No. 4 man. While that presents an advantage on the offensive side for the Buffs, it presents a bigger disadvantage defensively when Roby has to play Darnell Jackson or Darrell Arthur.
About Kansas (23-2, 8-2 Big 12): The Jayhawks left Austin, Texas, mad and frustrated that they didn't leave with a win. KU felt as if it controlled the game for most of the way but couldn't finish it. Kansas got yet another break from K-State, which again lost to a Big 12 bottom-dweller on the road. The Jayhawks now control their own destiny for at least a share of the conference crown, and at this point, what more could they ask for?
Bottom line: In Boulder, the game was tied 30-30 at the half. Don't expect the Buffs to hang around this time.
