Could the New Orleans Hornets move to St. Louis?
The NBA has purchased the New Orleans Hornets and now people are talking about the possibility of the team's move to another city.
But where could the team go and succeed? Some are speculating St. Louis would be a feasible new home for the team.
The buzz on the web this afternoon is that Kansas City is a top choice. Some say another strong possibility would be St. Louis.
Why? Hoopsworld.com says St. Louis' strong base of sports fans would be one reason and an NBA team could likely get a lot of support. St. Louis is no stranger to successful professional basketball teams... The St. Louis Hawks played from 1955 to 1968 before being moved to Atlanta and won an NBA championship in 1958.
The Scottrade Center could be used as the venue for an NBA team.
