Hornets' Paul returns to practice
Injured New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul, who has missed eight games since severely spraining his left ankle on Nov. 13, has returned to full practice.
Hornets coach Jeff Bower says he’s encouraged by what he saw today describing Paul’s workout as his most strenuous since sustaining the injury. Bower says he will check with Paul on Friday to see if his All-Star player suffered any setbacks in his rehabilitation as a result of the workout.
After practicing at the Alario Center, Paul said he was just glad to actually get back on the court. He described the effort as not the greatest but he was able to play “through some of the pain.”
The Hornets host the Minnesota Timberwolves at the New Orleans Arena on Friday.
